Forest Unit: Mini sloth craft

The sloth might be one of our favorite residents of the rainforest! These super chill mammals move slowly to conserve energy and limit the amount of food they need to eat—in fact, it can take them 30 days to digest a single leaf! Now, let’s craft a mini sloth that will be right at home in any rainforest diorama.

What you need:
What to do:

Print out the template on brown and light brown paper. (Or print both on white and color it in.)

Glue the lighter face on the body of the sloth. Draw a face and claws on your sloth as depicted in the photo.

Use markers or other coloring materials to decorate your popsicle stick like a branch.

Glue the sloth onto the branch. Now you can add it to your rain forest diorama!
