We’re so glad to have you.
We could not be more excited (and honored!) to be part of your homeschooling journey. Whether you’ve learned and lived with us before or you’re just now giving us a try, be assured—we do not take the responsibility lightly! We consider it our duty to help smooth the roadblocks and make learning natural, fun, and simple (for both your child and you).
If you took Learn + Live’s Level 1 lessons, you’ll see a few familiar themes and some new ones in this upgraded curriculum! The idea is to build on what your child knows, but to take it deeper with more challenging literature and upgraded activities that will strengthen their foundation and take their understanding to…well, the next level!
Here’s what to do next:
We send out the Learn & Live Letter every other Thursday so you have time to gather books and supplies for the following two weeks. The first send will go out September 16th for lessons that will being on September 20th. Click here to view our schedule so you can get a feel for the lessons that are coming your way.
Next, stock up! Click here for a list of 20 basic supplies every homeschool family should own (Psst! We tell you every week what you’ll need to complete the activities, but if you start here, you’ll only have a few things to order each month.)
Ready to learn? If you’re brand new to homeschooling, we strongly recommend our Foundations Unit as your first homeschool week theme. It’s packed with simple-yet-effective ways to get your routine off on a strong foot while introducing your child to habits and lessons that encourage independence and get you both in the right mindset for success.
Feeling a little nervous? You’re going to be great! But it’s important to go in with the right idea of “success.” Read this post for tips on how to know when something is not working—and when you might actually be right on track. We also recommend watching our “How to break a school minded cycle” IG Live to learn how you can bring the most joy possible to your homeschool.
Want more? (We get it!) If you haven’t already, take our Me! The Body sample unit study—it’s a full week of real lessons and activities that will engage all the senses.
Have questions? Comments? Concerns? We want to hear them. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we’ll get back to you ASAP.
