- paper + access to a printer (don’t have one? we like this model)
- laminator + laminator sheets (optional, but recommended for repeating lessons)
- forest animal figurines (optional, but if you were with us for our Snow Unit, you may already own these!)
- pencil
- tape measure
- measuring tape
- construction paper
- brown paper bag
- glue
- brown yarn or string (you could also use markers)
- paper towel tubes (3 or more)
- paint (brown, black, green)
- foam paint brushes
- green tissue paper
- large cardboard box
- hot glue gun + glue

- dry erase markers (if laminating)
- fresh mature mushrooms
- white and black cardstock (construction paper should also work)
- a glass
- spray fixative (optional, or you could use hair spray)

- food coloring (red and blue)

- a shallow baking dish or sensory bin

- LEGO, DUPLO, or recycled materials like toilet paper rolls, toothpicks, skewers, scrap cardboard, etc.
- styrofoam tray
- paint
- foam paint brushes (or regular paint brush)
- air-dry clay
- sculpting tools (or you could use toothpicks, skewers, pencils, etc.)
