What you need:
What to do:

Use the rubberband to bundle the bottom of the sticks together.

Give your child a few pieces of yarn, and let them do their best to weave it through the sticks like a weaver bird making a nest! There is no wrong way to do this activity, and the purpose is to help strengthen fine motor skills and gain an appreciation for all this ingenious little bird can do.

Younger children may enjoy simply wrapping the yarn around the bottom of the stick bundle.

Happy weaving!
