What we offer

Our homeschool unit studies are hands-on, faith-neutral (and secular), and literature-rich to build curiosity and critical thinking skills. With each week- or month-long unit study, you’ll cover core academic subjects, art + music studies + meaningful life skills in a gentle way that works with and supports your child’s natural learning development.

Spring is here! 🌼 If you and your child are ready for a homeschool change with the new season, then you will love the Learn + Live Letter Spring Units! Just like we should never expect our child to be 100% on, 100% of the time, it’s okay if you need a relaxed homeschool day, too! Whether you are starting your spring cleaning or preparing your child’s portfolio for an end-of-year evaluation, going through all of the hands-on activities you have done this year might just bring a happy tears to your eyes. ❤️ When learning is part of your life, there are always opportunities for organic lessons! I mean…they know what we do here, right?? 🤣😝 The Learn + Live Letter is a hands-on unit study program. But what do we mean by hands-on learning? Hands-on learning is a tactile learning style. It involves touch and movement and allows students to gain knowledge through experiences where they are given the opportunity to manipulate objects they are studying. By learning in this way students sharpen their problem solving and critical thinking skills to investigate and complete tasks. Our hands-on lessons incorporate science, technology, history, country studies, math, art, music and language. But in order to create hands-on learning experiences for our children we must facilitate hands-on lessons. And that's where you come in. Some days we feel like homeschool rock stars! 🌟 Other days we feel like fading twinkling stars — in pj’s. ✨ It’s important to remember that you don’t need to feel 100% confident to get started (or even keep) homeschooling. But if insecurities are sapping your homeschool joy, we want to help! That’s why, in addition to play- and STEM-based unit studies packed with rich literature and hands-on learning opportunities, we also include TONS of support for the grownup teaching our curriculum. How do we do it? Let us count the ways… What is the WHY behind your homeschool? You could stop at simply what you are opting *out* of—the things you are hoping your child will avoid by not participating in a traditional school system.
